What we do

We provide detailed temporary works/scaffold designs, calculations and consultancy to meet with the everyday demands of the UK construction/scaffolding industry.

Our business ethos is to establish close, professional relationships with our clients and to provide efficient, effective and reliable solutions to meet customer and regulatory requirements.

This ethos extends to all our associates, including potential clients, suppliers, our employees and colleagues in the construction industry.

We may collect and process the following data about you

Information that you provide to us to:

Name, business contact details (usually address, phone number(s), email address) and other information relevant to establish/maintain a professional relationship.

You might provide this information in form of email signatures/telephone calls/correspondence.

Information that we obtain about you:

Name, business contact details (usually address, phone number(s), email address) and other information relevant to establish/maintain a professional relationship.

We might collect and process your business contact details if you are working for one of our suppliers/potential suppliers/associates. We would obtain this information by using publicly available records (e.g. websites/brochures), your email signature, a telephone conversation or correspondence.

How we will use the information held about you:

  • to carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you and us

How and for how long will we store your personal data:

Customers:

Emails relating to the provision of our design services are kept on our secure mail server. Access to those emails is password protected.

Your business contact details might be stored on our business mobile phones should your role require this level of access. Access to those business mobiles is password protected.

Should your business role relate to invoicing, your contact details might also be stored on our in-house Data Base and on Xero – our Cloud Accounting Programme. The access to both is password protected.

We may keep a record of relevant correspondence received which might include a reference to your personal data. This is kept in a locked cupboard or electronically on our password protected local file server.

We will update your data as advised by you or your company and retain it a maximum of 5 years after project completion/invoicing.

Suppliers/Associates:

Emails relating to obtaining supplies / services are kept on our secure mail server. Access to those emails is password protected.

Your business contact details might be stored on our business mobile phones should your role require this level of access. Access to those business mobiles is password protected.

Should your business role relate to invoicing, your contact details as a supplier might also be stored on Xero – our Cloud Accounting Programme. The access to it is password protected.

In case your company provides invoices which include a reference to your personal data, please be advised that we scan and upload all our purchase invoices to Dropbox from where they are copied to Xero. We keep an electronic copy on our local file server (password protected) and a paper copy in our purchase ledger, which is stored in a locked cupboard. These invoices are retained for 5 years.

We may keep a record of relevant correspondence received which might include a reference to your personal data. It will be stored as above.

We will update your data as advised by you or your company/organisation and usually retain it for the duration of our business relationship. We might however keep a note of your contact details (usually in email form) for future reference up to 3 years.

Disclosure of your information

We will not disclose your information to any third parties unless you have consented for us to do so.
